Regarding your upper-bout treble-side mic placement, how do you use that approach with cutaways?

This is a great question that I get asked all the time (thus appearing on an episode of FAQ Friday! haha)

If your acoustic guitar has a cutaway on the bottom, simply mic it on the top (mirrored position to where it would be at the bottom) It gives me the same sound as at the bottom!
