Home Studio Tour & Interview with AMAC

I love meeting people that have very similar stories to mine where we just fall into the role of being a producer and/or engineer. Meeting “AMAC” (Ali McGuire) was one of these experiences where it felt that no matter where should would turn, it was always going to be in the studio and behind the console.

We went to visit AMAC at her home studio that functions as her mixing room and vocal booth.

It’s a very typical studio for today and I am sure many of your have similar rooms at home that you work from. Ali’s story is awesome. From dropping out of college and enrolling in a 6-month course, Ali quickly became a FOH engineer and worked on large stadium tours for about 6 years.

Burned from that tour life, she packed up and moved to LA to pursue her career as a studio engineer that has no turned her in to a Platinum-selling engineer.
