The most important asset in your studio? Monitoring! Antelope Atlas i8 Speakers Review

Hey everyone, the holidays are over and we’re right back at it.
With a topic, that often doesn’t receive the attention it deserves…

The most important asset in your studio.

Want to have a guess what that is?

That’s right. Your monitoring system!

While we teach you a lot about mixing and recording techniques, you can’t mix what you can’t hear. So the first step to producing professional music is to ensure that your monitoring situation is the absolute best it can be.

With that in mind, I’m reviewing Antelope Audio’s brand-new Atlas i8 speakers today!

The Atlas i8s are active, 3-way speakers, which feature coaxial tweeters (enhanced high-end clarity and detail), as well as cutting-edge ‘isobaric’ woofer technology.

What does that mean?

There are two bass drivers sitting right behind each other, which results in a fuller and more balanced low-end response.

In addition, the Atlas i8s give you a TON of super useful calibration features, which why I’m calling them ‘smart’ 😉

Check out the video to see how the Atlas i8’s match up against my trusty ol’ Genelecs!

Let me know in the comments what you think about these speakers, and which tricks you’re currently employing to improve your studio listening environment.
Before you go, I’ve got one more goodie for you…
