Apogee Duet 3 Review and Giveaway

In today’s video Joe Carrell and I take a look at the Apogee Duet 3, a very easy to use interface with two inputs and four outputs. Being only slightly larger than my phone it makes the perfect traveling interface for what we need. Not only is it’s size very convenient, it also has the quality that Apogee is known for.

Apogee are recognized for having some of the best mic pres and the highest conversion quality and the Duet 3 reinforces this heritage with mic pre gain up to 65dB, 24bit / 192kHz recording, multiple inputs for mic, line, and instrument levels, headphones and balanced outputs all in a small portable package.

A highlight of the Duet 3 is the on-board hardware DSP, providing low latency recording with the Apogee Symphony ECS Channel Strip. This allows us to process the signal going in how we want without taxing the CPU from a device such as an iPad, laptop, or desktop computer.
