You may have noticed over the last month or two we’ve been posting some videos of me playing Laney, Vox, and Revv amps, we’ve also posted a video of us recording drums in a castle!
All these videos share the same tag “#TGU19″, that tag stands for Thomann Gearhead University 2019 which is exactly where all the videos mentioned above were filmed.
TGU19 was amazing, we had a lot of fun. There were some incredible YouTubers there, some of who are very famous and I’m sure you know who they are. The rather wonderful, good friend of mine, Pete Thorn, the very famous Mr. Paul Davids, and also very famous Samurai Guitarist, who you know both have massive channels.
There were some great and very talented people there like the bass player Jayme Lewis, and Mary Spender! Mary is a wonderful singer that we recorded a song with. – That video is coming soon!
While we were there I realized I didn’t have an inexpensive travels guitar. Yes I have the Martin Backpacker that you all know and love but it became the guitar that People would come and sign over to my son. – Suddenly it became a little bit too valuable to travel with.
So I got this Harley Benton which is an inexpensive line that Thomann makes, It’s short scale and easy to travel with! – It’s a great little guitar so thank you Thomann.
We’ve traveled with it a lot since we flew back from Germany and I have been bringing it with me all over the place because as you know we have been all over the bleeding place lately.
Today’s video is our experience at TGU19, a behind the scene style video, we’re going to introduce you to some of the wonderful people who work over there, there are a few YouTubers, and some other great stuff. – It’s just a fun thing to check out for a lovely Monday morning.
