Best Classic Modulations in ONE PLUGIN? | Waves Kaleidoscopes

Waves Kaleidoscope1-750

Waves has another exciting new plugin that we get to try out today! The Waves Kaleidoscopes plugin is exciting because it could be exactly what I have been asking for the last few years, which is a plugin that has a really good phaser on it, a flanger, a chorus, and a tremolo.

With Kaleidocopes, Waves has really gone out of their way to model some of the best and most famous units. These are the units modelled in the plugin:

• DeArmond 601 Tremolo Control (1941)

• Fender Tremolux (1955)

• Fender Vibralux (1963)

• Eventide Instant Phaser PS101 (1972)

• MXR Phase 90 (1974)

• Eventide Instant Flanger (1976)

• Boss CE-1 Chrous Ensemble (1976)

• MXR Phase 100 (1977)

With this super-suite of phaser, flanger, chorus, and tremolo sounds, Kaleidoscopes is a new secret weapon to make drums, vocals, synths, and guitars moves and breathe. It is perfect for giving your mixes depth, colour, and feel. The Dual Cascade engines allow you to ‘cascade’ any two effects for magical textures, and intelligent triggers respond dynamically to your playing in real time.
