Beyerdynamic recently sent me the DT 1990 Pros to try out and give away.
And let me tell you: I don’t want to give them away!
They might easily be the best pair of headphones I’ve used in a while: They sound fantastic and are so comfortable that you almost forget you’re wearing them – ideal for long sessions. The soundstage is wide with great detail, depth and dynamic representation.
Their frequency response is well balanced, which allows for critical listening and most likely won’t be tiring to your ears even when mixing for long hours. But I wouldn’t know – I only tested them shortly to keep them fresh for our giveaway winner!
The craftsmanship and finish is excellent, as you would expect from high-end headphones made in Germany.
My assistant Sam from Germany looked up the headphones and they’ve gotten raving reviews from German magazines and audio blogs across the board. Here are two direct quotes, you’ll love the second one!
