Before going to Nashville to launch his career as a recording engineer, Bob studied music at Berklee College of Music. He relocated to Los Angeles in 2001 in order to pursue a profession as a mix engineer.

Bob is an excellent musician who plays the drums, guitar, bass, and piano in addition to being active in songwriting and production, even though his primary area of interest in his work is music mixing. In North Hollywood, California, where he mixes for his clients, Bob co-designed and developed The EchoBar Recording Studios in 2011.
