Could Soothe2 Be The Ultimate Vocal Plugin? (Demo & Giveaway)

Ultimate Vocal Plugin

About a year and a half ago I sat down with the rather wonderful (and exceptionally talented) Eric Valentine! I went to his new studio, and he had some incredible stuff! He had a J37 tape machine, these beautiful Strauss Monitors, but one of the things he was really freaking out about was the Oeksound plugin “Soothe.” They recently released version 2… the Soothe2! Haha

Today we’re giving away 3 copies of the Soothe2! Enter below for a chance to win!

Oeksound calls their plugin a “Dynamic Resonance Suppressor.” What I like about this idea is that it’s taking any frequency that seems like it’s peaking just a little bit too much and dominating in the sound. How many times have you heard a vocal and thought to yourself “It’s all nasal, or it’s super piercing 3K, or there’s a lot of low-mid building up!” The name itself makes me want to use it on some vocals! So we’re going to try it out on a few different vocals and see how it performs

We had a ton of fun using the Soothe2! Watch the video below to hear how the Soothe2 performs! Now that I’ve used it, I think I’m going to have a lot of fun using it in the right circumstances! In this video, we’re just scraping the surface! I can see that it can do a ton of stuff!
