When I was 19 I worked at a local music store, I sold guitars and recording equipment. I befriended one of the clients that came in who had a studio. I got a call one day saying: ‘I’m on tour and I have a high profile artist coming in to record, can you do it?’.
That client was Louise Goffin with Gail Ann Dorsey along with Dave Gilmour and Pink Floyd Engineer Andy Jackson!
The studio was small with a low ceiling and we have a limited selection of Mics. But Andy is world class and within a few minutes he had an amazing drum sound!
