We have been huge fans of Eventide for many many years.
They are currently celebrating 50 years of incredible products for audio and music production and there isn’t any sign of them letting up.
They gave us the chance to check out their latest version of Physion (Physion Mk 2). It takes their trademarked Structural Split technology revered in their groundbreaking SplitEQ plugin and applies it to an effects unit.
Yes! By splitting the signal, you can apply different effects to either the transient or the tonal component of the signal. It’s really cool.
And as ever, we’re grateful to the incredible Mr Matt Lange for sharing not only his take on this creative plugin but Matt was invited by Eventide to create presets – and there are A LOT.

Physion Mk II’s factory library comes loaded with over 500 presets, offering unique and exclusive sounds, organized into easy-to-navigate categories.
