The lovely people at Fender have sent us a Mustang ST100, I’ve never tried it so we’re going to try it out.
It has outputs that you can go directly into your interface, – that is pretty exciting.
It has tons of sounds built into it and the great thing is not only are they going to let us try it out they’re also going to give it away as a giveaway to all of the lovely people in this community.

I’m excited to try it, I only have a couple of combos, one of which is a little Fender G-DEC which they used to make and that has tracks built into it. That was a lot of fun but it’s 10-15-year-old technology now.
This Mustang GT100 is new and I’m very excited to try it out.

The Mustang GT100 incorporates Celestion speakers that not only enhance your instrument’s tone, but they also sound great when streaming Bluetooth audio. – it’s a rather nice feature.
Everything about this is very very good, price wise this amp is only $349!
As a producer-engineer and guitar player, I will tell you that most of these stompboxes, reverbs and all of the other things as plugins and delays let alone the fact that it has a Celestion speaker in it, and it’s an amp you can gig with, connect it with your DAW and …. I have to be honest with you, none of this makes sense to be only $349, It’s a great price. – Thank you Fender.
I do love this kind of thinking, we all love tube amps, we adore them, I use them every day, but there is a reality that comes with buying that much beautiful hardware and putting it together in a skilled way which so many of these incredible amp manufacturers do.
There is always going to be a cost-prohibitive which is going to make it very difficult for your average guy or girl who is first learning to play guitar to get into it.
At $349, it’s a nice Christmas present, but it’s not unheard of. I think your average parent with a teenage kid could get this as a nice present.
I’m glad to see technology moving this way and making things easier for people to get started making music.
