GameChanger Audio Plasma Rack | Demo & Giveaway

GameChanger Audio Plasma Rack

Last summer, we were with Vance Powell at Sputnik Sound, and noticed that he had a really fancy looking unit in his rack. That unit was the GameChanger Audio Plasma Rack! Today, we are lucky enough to have the opportunity to try one out for ourselves!

In addition to letting us try out the Plasma Rack, GameChanger Audio has given us one to giveaway! Enter below for your chance to win!

At the heart of the Plasma Rack is a unique High Voltage Distortion concept, which is a brand new way of analog signal processing developed by GameChanger Audio in 2018. By using a high voltage step-up flyback transformer, the Plasma Rack turns your instrument’s signal into a rapid series of electric discharges in a Xenon-filled tube. This creates a large amount of heavy distortion, and saturates the sound with a wide range of harmonics and overtones.

I think this is one of the most comprehensive pieces of hardware I have used, especially in terms of its distortion and saturation capabilities. Of course, you can use this on whatever you want, but I can really see this on my drums and on my guitar bus in certain sections to destroy my guitars a little bit more and do all kinds of crazy things with it.

GameChanger Audio has really gone out of their way to take evert element you can imagine with a tube and do some really, really cool things with this unit!
