IK Multimedia AXE I/O Review & Giveaway

Today we’re taking a look at the new IK Multimedia AXE I/O; it’s an interface specifically for guitar players! Finally!! Not only are we going to be reviewing this unit, but we’re also going to be talking to Davide Barbi (the designer / creator of the AXE I/O), AND on top of all that, giving one an AXE I/O away to one of you! (Scroll up to enter the giveaway!)

One of the things that I love about this thing is that it has a tuner on the front! This is maybe the most essential part of recording guitar- recoding a guitar that is tuned! haha

The AXE I/O comes with so much free software! (Some of my favourites!) It comes a massive bundle of over $/€1,000 of software and plug-ins, so you have everything you need to track, mix and master your music right out of the box. The included AmpliTube 4 Deluxe offers over 140 ultra-accurate models of guitar and bass amps, cabs, pedals, mics and more!

You also get a selection of 10 of their most popular and best sounding T-RackS 5 processors, covering the most popular outboard gear for mixing guitar, bass, vocals and any other instrument, and mastering full tracks with a world-class sound.

This is the kind of thinking I love that wasn’t around a couple of years ago. It’s great that companies are realizing that guitar players are people too! haha Some of the biggest YouTubers out there are guitar players who shred, and they’re all plugged into these small/budget audio interfaces that aren’t made specifically for guitar players!

I also love the fact that I can grab the AXE I/O, my laptop, a guitar, and record anywhere I want in the world!

I could go on and on about this I/O, but as I mentioned earlier, I got to chat with Davide Barbi, the designer of the AXE I/O, all about it in today’s video! It was really cool to chat with someone who actually designed this unit and had a greater understanding!

I hope you enjoy this review and the chat with Davide! Please leave a TON of comments and questions on today’s video and don’t forget to enter the giveaway! (At the top of this post!)
