J Clark’s Impressive PMC Immersive Studio

J Clark is an engineer, mixer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, CA.

J’s studio is a sight to behold! Built in collaboration with PMC Loudspeakers, Dolby Laboratories, and Sony Home Entertainment, J’s studio is built to handle anything the future of audio has in store.

For those of you hesitant to jump into the world of atmos, J’s list of collaborators reads as a pretty compelling argument for the format. J has created immersive mixes for the likes of Jennifer Lopez, MK Rauw Alejandro, The Hold Steady, Mickey Guyton, Nelly, Cole Swindell, and many others.

Beyond his work in the studio, J spent the majority of the late 90s and 2000s playing and touring in a number of different musical acts (Pretty Girls Make Graves, Killsadie, Jaguar Love, and Sharks Keep Moving). Beyond this, J began composing music for film and ads in 2010, expanding into post production, mixing, sound design, and dialogue editing throughout his career in LA.

It was such an honor to check out this amazing space! Not only for the brilliant immersive set up, but for J’s wonderful insight.
