Jonathan Wilson is a Los Angeles based musician, singer songwrtier, producer, engineer and mixer. Jonathan is an incredibly skilled musician and he has yet to find an instrument that he cannot play. He runs owns and maintains Fivestar Studios based in Echo Park, Los Angeles. His studio has a beautiful Cadac console and is based around some very lovely outboard gear.
Jonathan is part of what I believe is the new world in the music industry where there is not simply one job or responsibility that a person settles into. People like Jonathan are flourishing because they are combining many jobs, honing their skills and making incredible music.Jonathan is a perfect fit for the new music industry because he is able to play many instruments, engineer a great sounding recording and produce amazing songs.
Jonathan and I connected on Instagram due to our shared love for Cadac consoles. They sound amazing, I use mine all the time to record drums. Jonathan’s console is amazingly beautiful and is the centrepiece of his studio. He’s currently working on music with Roger Waters and sings Dave Gilmour’s parts during live performances.
