What better way to test out The Amethyst Mic from JZ Microphones than by recording an amazing cover of Carole King’s “It’s Too Late.”
To create this fantastic cover, we had Steve Maggiora on vocals, Blair Sinta on drums, Michael Humphries on guitar, and Warren Huart on bass!
The song we are covering is a song from American singer-songwriter Carole King’s second studio album, Tapestry – recorded in 1971. Toni Stern wrote the lyrics and Carole wrote the music.
It was released as a single in April 1971 and quickly reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Billboard ranked “It’s Too Late” and its fellow A-side, “I Feel the Earth Move”, as the No. 3 record for 1971.
