This follows on our recent video, Ultimate Bass Mixing on 7 Different Songs. One of the most searched and asked questions in Produce Like A Pro are questions around low end mixing, so we wanted to make these videos for you to help you understand some of the many ways you can mix.
The mixers included in today’s video are Warrant Huart, Cameron Webb, Mark Needham, Bob Horn, Bob Marlette, Richard Furch, and Justin Cortelyou. During the video, some of these mixers will also be answering common mixing questions they’re encountered, including Mark Needham who takes us through how he knows when he has the right low end.
Mark explains that working with the same set of speakers for a long period of time will help you to better hear and understand what works and what doesn’t. Switching speakers will result in different sounds, so keeping the same speakers and getting to know them very well will help with consistency.
