Soundtoys Super Plate

SuperPlate emulates the tonal character of five classic electromechanical plate reverbs with it’s algorithms capturing a great level of realism and versatility to create luscious, immersive effects.

At the core of SuperPlate are models of the EMT 140, EMT 240, Audicon, EcoPlate III, and Stocktronics RX4000 plate reverb units. SuperPlate includes three different flavors of analog coloration – Tube, Solid-State, and Clean – which can be used in combination with any of SuperPlate’s styles. The Tube and Solid-State modes are modeled on the EMT V54 preamp for tube saturation and the EMT 162 preamp which has a built-in compressor to help tame transients.

SuperPlate also includes a range of modern digital features, including infinite decay time, built-in pre-delay, expanded modulation controls, full-featured EQ for detailed tonal shaping, and a unique decay ducking option that adjusts decay time to avoid overlap or masking.

Soothe Live by Oeksound

Soothe Live was built to address common problems in mixing live sound, such as overly bright instruments, proximity effect in vocals, muddiness and instrument bleed. It removes extreme harshness, calms unwanted resonances and sibilance, controls bleed from instruments and helps achieve tonal balance across the frequency spectrum. Soothe Live also reduces unwanted frequencies in real time, letting engineers focus on delivering extremely high-quality live sound mixes.

Triad-Orbit

There’s a reason why everybody is using these at NAMM – they are built like a brick!

T3 – The stability alone makes these stands pay for themselves. Unlike lightweight metal tube legs, Triad Stand bases feature solid metal legs. These legs are heavy and hard to move, making up for the added weight with heroic stability.

O1 – The O1 Orbital Boom includes Triad-Orbit’s IO Quick-Change Couplers for fast hardware changes. Plus, a large counterweight keeps your mic right where you want it.

M2 – The Triad-Orbit M2 short-stem orbital mic adapter attaches to any Triad stand or Orbit boom in seconds, thanks to its IO Quick-Change design. The short-stem design lets you make fine adjustments to your mic positioning in tight spaces. If you have a Triad stand or Orbit boom arm, you need the Triad-Orbit M2 short-stem orbital mic adapter.

PioneerDJ DJM-A9

Ideas surrounding DJs, music making, performance, and showmanship have gradually blurred throughout the new millennium. This haze has led us to a complicated catch-22, wherein there’s more room than ever for newcomers, but it’s become increasingly difficult to stand out. Fortunately, Pioneer DJ has crafted a masterclass in DJ-based performance that expertly blends basic needs with innovative new tools and flexible connectivity options: the DJM-A9. This 4-channel DJ mixer features a suite of diverse tools tailored to accommodate a slew of distinctive DJ approaches and take the craft into new territory with the convenience of its comprehensive design.

Voyage Audio – Spatial Mic

The Spatial Mic’s innovative design helps streamline the recording workflow associated with multi-channel microphone arrays. It employs built-in Dante network connectivity, with no external mic preamps, multi-channel cables carrying analog signals, or converters needed. A calibration profile is stored within each mic to ensure consistent purity of signal. Dante recording quality supports resolutions up to 32-bit / 192 kHz.

The mic works in tandem with two powerful apps (free downloads available separately). Used in postproduction, the Spatial Mic Converter DAW plug-in (VST, AAX, MacOS X, and Windows 10) transforms the raw capsule output to first- or second-order Ambisonics in AmbiX or Fuma formats, offering the capability to change the microphone’s aim to the point in space where the audio was initially recorded. The Spatial Mic Control app allows for remote operation of all hardware controls and more (MacOS X and Windows 10).
