NAMM has been nuts this year!
It really is THE Global event, an extremely busy, well attended event where everyone from all over the world gets to hang and talk music and gear!
We flew in from the UK this year and on the plane was saying NAMM is here to stay, not least for the fact that it’s in California, the sun is always out and therefore us Europeans can escape the cold, rainy weather!
Day three was again jammed packed and Joe Carrell and myself had a blast talking to loads of incredibly passionate gear manufacturers both large and small.
In Day Three’s Video we start with an amazing stop at Fluid Audio where they are extremely generously giving away their a pair of flagship 3 Way Speakers the Image 2, these are $4,000 speakers!
Next up is Phoenix Audio with owner Robin Ashley, David Hintze at API Audio showed us a beautiful limited edition cream 1608 (you know I want it!), Sonnox are giving away their new VOCA plug in, we get to hang with Soothe 2 creators Oeksound, Kit Plugins are giving us three Blackbird Bundles to giveaway, Joe stopped by at Isoacoutics, Andrew Myburgh showed us his new Set Mic with a CK12 capsule, I got to FINALLY talk with Schoeps about their incredible mics.
First thing Day Three I did a talk with Dave Malekpour at Augspurger, which was a blast! Joe got to go over to see Apogee, Empirical Labs and the Polish Company HUM who make beautiful looking and sounding consoles!
