MultiMod Rack is a next-level distortion suite for both creative production and surgical precision mixing. It’s a 3-slot rack that accepts all of Waves’ newest distortion plugins – Abbey Road Saturator, Berzerk, and MDMX Fuzz, Overdrive & Screamer. With this plugin, you can use 3 of these plugins in once instance, meaning you are able to create more layered, complex, and controlled distortion sounds.
What I love about this plugin is that you can assign the different distortion plugins to different frequency bands (lows, mids, highs) with full control over the crossover points. You are also able to drag five powerful modulators to specific controls within each plugin!
Each plugin has its own library of presets, and the entire MultiMod plugin has presets for building a whole processing framework as well!
If you already use Waves distortion plugins, you will have very little to learn, as all the plugins are the ones you know and love! What is new are the crossover and EQ sections, and the modulators.
