This was such a fun project done by the whole crew! We sat down and recorded Peace, Love, and Understanding with the original drummer for Elvis Costello, Pete Thomas! With Manny as engineer and Warren on guitar, the crew set out to faithfully recreate the original.
Manny walks us through the whole process of producing the track, with special attention to the drum sounds. Specifically, how to emulate vintage recording techniques and sounds with the use of mic placement, considerate DI’s, and proper use of analog emulations.
