Platinum Metal Engineer Reacts to Hearing Joy Division for the First Time

Joy Division are one of the most important bands of all time, with Peter Hook’s hook driven melodic bass playing, infused with Stephen Morris’ Disco Drums, Bernard Sumner’s angular guitar and melody laden synth lines with Ian Curtis’ haunting baritone voice and introspective lyrics contributed to Joy Division’s atmospheric and emotionally charged music which influenced everyone who came after them.
