About Stevie Van Zandt

American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor Steven Van Zandt (also known by the stage names Little Steven and Miami Steve)  is best known as the guitar and mandolin player in Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band. Stevie also has his own solo band called Little Steven and The Disciples of Soul, intermittently active since the 1980s.

His performances in a number of television drama series, such as Silvio Dante in The Sopranos (1999–2007) and Frank Tagliano in Lilyhammer (2012–2014), have also earned him recognition.

He was awarded to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 as an E Street Band member. He has written songs, produced music, and had his own songs performed by Meat Loaf, Nancy Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, and many others.
