It all starts with the song.
I have been very fortunate to work with some of the worlds greatest songwriters, Steven Tyler, Diane Warren, Isaac Slade from The Fray, all of them amazing writers.
English Songwriter and Los Angeles transplant Jamie Hartman has written and Produced songs by James Bay, Will Young, Christina Aguilera, Joss Stone, Andy Grammer and many others.
Jamie Hartman writes songs that speak to me very directly, his melodies reference Lennon, Mercury and Bowie and his lyrics are focused and beautiful.
I have been blessed to write songs with him and I also Produced (along side him) his last solo album.
Jamie has a small but incredibly effective and simple set up where he writes and records, all housed in one of Los Angeles’ most famous studios, The Village.
