This is the home of legends, are you ready to join them?

Rockfield Studios began it’s commercial recording life in 1961 and has become a beloved recording and mixing studio for a number of titans of the music industry. Fancy learning how to mix in the same Room as Queen recorded Bohemian Rhapsody? Well this is your chance! The list of artists that have used this studio is beyond legendary – we are talking Iggy Pop, Black Sabbath, Rush, Oasis – and now you!

It is no secret that I am a huge fan of the music of British rock legends Queen, and I can hardly contain my enthusiasm for being here at Rockfield! Filmed over three days, we soaked up the atmosphere of this hallowed studio space, explored the vintage gear, and used the environment to craft a wonderful rock / metal song with the talented Tom Auton and his band. This is not just a course for aspiring producers, mixers, and engineers – it’s a fantastic course for anyone interested in the history of modern music!

If these walls could talk…

This is one of the spiritual homes of British studio recording and we take you through the studio setup and history in a fascinating tour of the facilities before digging into a detailed production and recording session.
