Exploring Tim O’Sullivan LA Studio: Fun guitars & Affordable Consoles

It’s my pleasure to share with you a studio tour with producer, Tim O’Sullivan (Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs; Rayland Baxter & Grace Potter)

Having been Bearfoot Studio’s previous Studio Manager, Tim sought his own personal recording studio when friend, musicians and Beastie Boys collaborator, Money Mark looked at moving.

He jumped on the idea of having his own space and built a space around an affordable, Soundcraft Ghost console, Audient Nero monitor switch, PMC & Genelec monitors and a whole bunch of other outboard gear.

I think every room we walked in had a bunch of guitars and they were FUN to say the least – they’re mainly revamped and repurposed guitars that he has acquired over the years and applies a little creative thinking on top!
