From meeting with the Home Studio Marketing Alumni last night and hearing their incredibly encouraging stories of success from around the world, to meeting ground-breaking engineers, my role as an engineer and producer in the educational sphere is a rather humbling one.
Today, I’m sharing the time I got to sit down (online) with “The Emperor” himself, Mr Tony Levin. Regarded as one of the most versatile and greatest bassists of all time, we discussed everything from King Crimson to Peter Gabriel and everything in between.
Tony has done it all and contributed his unique style on tracks from John Lennon to David Bowie to Cher and, outside of highly notable credits, he is famed for using the Chapman Stick, a unique upright bass, in many of his projects.
