I recently had a chance to sit down with the incredibly talented Wayne Miller at his home studio (Selma Studios) in Hollywood, California and talk about the music industry, touring, and songwriting!
Wayne is an accomplished songwriter, producer, musical director and mixer. He collaborates with artists and songwriters to produce music that is authentic and has a lasting effect on people.
As a producer and songwriter, Wayne has had his work featured in films and television shows on networks such as NBC, CBS, MTV and Netflix, to name a few.
In addition to producing and songwriting, Wayne is a successful musical director for touring artists. He has utilized his talents while working with artists such as Demi Lovato, Mike Posner, Christina Perri, and Chance the Rapper, among others.
Wayne’s Selma Studios is a hub for all things music. The space is no bigger than a usual home studio, which goes to show that you don’t need a huge space to create great music! Every inch of available space has a use! The warm and inviting environment allows artists to feel comfortable and at home while they are there, and aids in bringing out some of their most honest work.
Wayne is also a founder of the LA Songwriters Collective! It’s a community of songwriters who write, learn, explore and perform together.
