We are back with another Mix AND Remix Competition, and this time we have OVER $55,000 IN PRIZES!
For this competition you download the multitracks then choose whether or not you want to create a REMIX of the song, or MIX the song from scratch yourself.
The song you will be remixing is ‘Kolo Nga Yan’ by Naji Soul from Morocco. You can listen to the song here.
Mix Contest Rules:
- Crafting a full-blown Mix OR Remix of ‘Kolo Nga Yan’
- If doing a REMIX, please be sure to include at least 2 original production elements in your track (e.g. Vocals & Bass).
- This is not a loudness competition, all tracks will be level-matched by the judges before listening.
- Please only submit your mix/remix ONCE; multi-submissions will automatically be excluded from the contest.
- Submission ends 7th January, 2022 at 11:59 PM PST. Any mixes/remixes submitted after this deadline will be excluded from the contest.
- The winner will be announced via email, as well as on the Produce Like A Pro YouTube Channel
How to get in on the fun:
- Download the Multitracks of ‘Kolo Nga Yan’ HERE.
- Remix the song. Don’t be afraid to come up with something completely different!
- Complete your submission before 7th January, 2022 at 11:59 PM PST
- Bounce your track to a 320kb/s mp3 file. Make sure the file name includes your first- and last name (e.g. ‘Peter Pan – Kolo Nga Yan Remix.mp3’)
- Please indicate if it is a MIX or REMIX in the title
- Upload your track to Youtube, Soundcloud or another streaming platform of your choice and use the Tag ‘Naji Soul – Kolo Nga Yan Remix Contest 2021’ in the description.
- Submit your mp3, along with a link to your streaming track to support@ratemymix.com.
- Please post your Soundcloud Or YouTube Link on the Competition Page and leave a comment on someone else’s mix!

A total of SIX winners will be chosen — a top THREE for those who submitted a MIX and a top THREE for those who submitted a REMIX.
