What’s new in Studio One 3.5?

Studio one Update 3.5 update explained

PreSonus Studio One is a relatively new DAW which has gained a lot of fans over the last couple of years. It was developed by the head engineers of Cubase and I’ve heard quite a few engineers call it ‘The DAW of the future’.

Is that accurate? You be the judge!

Studio One recently rolled out a huge new update, which all users receive for free.

In this video, our dear friend and Studio One expert David Mood walks us through the new features of the 3.5 update.

Studio One 3.5 introduces a completely revised Project Page for mastering, an extensive Mixer Undo functionality, and a powerful new optimized low-latency audio engine for near-zero latency software audio and virtual instrument monitoring with suitable audio interfaces.

David covers the most important new features and changes, and lists his favourite improvements. He gives an in-depth explanation of the new features in the Project Page, and the Native Low Latency Monitoring function.

IMPORTANT: This version introduces an updated file format for Songs and Projects for faster Save / Auto-Save. Files created in 3.5 will no longer open in previous versions of Studio One. Make sure to work from copies of your existing songs created in Studio One 3.3.4 or older if you like to continue working with a previous version as well.

Thanks so much for sharing this video with us David, you rock!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, the features that PreSonus rolled out with this update are truly impressive!
