When I sent the instrumental mix to engineer\u00a0<span style=\"color: #1f58b5;\"><a style=\"color: #1f58b5;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=QM65lUX4oz4\">Greg Collins<\/a><\/span>\u00a0for Paul to\u00a0track his vocals to, he\u00a0called me and said:\u00a0&#8220;Wow these drums sound amazing, where did you record them?&#8221;<br \/>\nShhh&#8230; in my home studio&#8230; \ud83d\ude09<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">I&#8217;ve often talked about the fact that some of the greatest records of all time were made on very humble setups, in houses and far from any major studio. I 100% believe that that&#8217;s all you need to make great music today. Because what really matters is your creativity, a great song and a great performance!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">You CAN\u00a0get a powerful drum sound from drums recorded in small spaces, you just have to know a few tricks and workarounds to make it happen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">This tutorial shows you\u00a0how to make your drums sound bigger and more ambient\u00a0than they actually are:<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">I&#8217;ll teach\u00a0you a technique I&#8217;ve learnt from legendary rock mixer Andy Wallace.
