When the microphone division of RCA was permanently shut down in 1976, Wes found his place in music history by becoming the go to guy for servicing the large number of RCA microphones still in use.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"s1\">Legendary musicians love Wes\u2019 AEA Mics. Les Paul said the 44 was the greatest mic ever made, Eddie Van Halen said that only the 44 makes the 5150 sound the same as it does in the room.<\/span>\u00a0 Jack White takes 5 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ribbonmics.com\/microphone\/legacy-series\/ku4\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">AEA KU4 microphones<\/span><\/a> on tour when we he does an acoustic show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Wes Explains how he has learned to tune his microphones to capture sound with a frequency response up to 40kHz.
