Which is it? Which do you prefer?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I honestly like working in a tactile environment, I also like not being at a screen. When we\u2019re at the screen we&#8217;re often on <a href=\"https:\/\/producelikeapro.com\/blog\/mixing-with-headphones-what-you-need-to-know\/\">headphones<\/a> and the smaller speakers.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve been <strong>embracing the headphone technology<\/strong> and how much we like the <a href=\"https:\/\/store.sonarworks.com\/collections\/reference-4\/products\/reference-4-headphone-edition\">Sonarworks<\/a> and we really enjoy the <a href=\"http:\/\/waves.alzt.net\/e50eg\">Waves Abbey Road Studio 3<\/a> software and we can now be a little in front of the computer screen.<\/p>\n<p>However, <strong>there is nothing better than being able to turn around being between a pair of speakers and reaching for a fader.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not like I sit here writing faders all day writing in tons of automation and stuff like that. I still do that but not as much, these days in the world of <strong>hybrid it\u2019s a combination of both those environments.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many guys and girls who work in a hybrid environment print SSL tracks back into their DAWs then work in the box, but they have used the <strong>EQ<\/strong>,<strong> compression<\/strong>, and<strong> dynamics<\/strong> of the <strong>console<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>That happens a lot and it makes Recall-ability easy because you can just call up a session and have all of your printed tracks in there. &#8211; <strong>Very smart indeed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What I do love is the ability of many guys and girls like <a href=\"http:\/\/wesaudio.com\/\"><strong>Wes Audio<\/strong><\/a> who have been nominated this year for a <strong>TEC award<\/strong>. We were one of the first people to talk about them.<\/p>\n<p>Our good friends at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tegeler-audio-manufaktur.de\/\">Tegeler Audio<\/a> also have that software. What we\u2019re going to do now is show you something that we did in our masterclass. It\u2019s quite long but it will show you what this particular compressor can do. <strong>&#8211; I will say it&#8217;s pretty impressive!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We\u2019re big fans of this company<\/strong>, they\u2019re <strong>not paying us<\/strong> to do this, <strong>Michael Krusch<\/strong> came down to give us this presentation because we asked them to.
