It can take up to 148 dB SPL, which means you can put it almost anywhere you like. This feature, along with the adjustable polar patterns, make it very versatile and very useful in live situations. You could place multiple OC818s around a room to mic a live band, and then control the polar patterns to make it very tight. In addition, if you record in stereo, you can even change the polar pattern after you&#8217;ve finished recording!<\/p>\n<p>To test the OC818 out, we are going to be recording a song that I wrote for my wife, called &#8220;Perfect to Me&#8221;.
