Producers today need to be able to relate to their artists to help figure out parts and structures of their songs. Producing in this way can help to inspire the artist and that is the magic you are trying to capture during the session.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Be open to all kinds of music.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">If you&#8217;re not a musician, this is the best advice I can give today:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><strong>Learn music, know music, and reference music.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nDon&#8217;t be bound by periods of music or genre &#8211; learn to love and reference everything as that will inspire your artists.
