Many of them feel inseparable from John himself. The phrasing, the attitude, the emotional edge, even the vulnerability, they are deeply personal and often resist translation. You can sing them, however you cannot easily\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"italic\">be<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0them. That specificity is exactly what makes John\u2019s recordings so compelling.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"article-main__content\" data-test-id=\"publishing-text-block\">\n<p><span class=\"\">So while Paul\u2019s compositions may win on craft and breadth, John\u2019s performances often win on impact and identity. Ken\u2019s insight captures that delicate balance perfectly. It is not about choosing sides.
