We are starting a new mix competition today, with Glenn Fricker from SpectreSoundStudios and Henning Pauly from EytschPi42!
In this mix competition, you will get to mix a song called “Patiently” by Campaign like Clockwork. This is an amazing song that Henning recorded with this band.
Over the course of a year, Henning recorded this track and the rest of the album with Campaign like Clockwork. What is interesting about the recording process for this album is that Henning live-streamed it all on his YouTube channel. Before starting to record, Henning set up a number of cameras around the studio so that you can see exactly what is going on. Throughout the course of the session, the band member controlling the cameras will switch between them to show what is going on in the studio. Because of these live streams, viewers were actually able to get involved in the process as well, asking questions and making suggestions along the way.
This is a great song from a great band, and we are so excited to hear how you all mix the track!
