All with the click of a single button, right inside your DAW.” The end result is six different effects that come together in a versatile channel strip. As you mix and match the effects available in this plugin, the Super VHS will add some 1980s lofi authenticity to any clean sound you run through it. Each of the effects has just a single control, with multiple parameters under the hood, which will allow you to find endless combinations that will transform your synths, samples guitars, drums, and more.
This is a great plugin to use to wrongify instruments and make them so much more interesting! Between this plugin, and the I Heart NY plugin, BABY Audio is heading in the right direction and are thinking of all the best ways to just mess things up and make them more exciting.
When I first started out making music, I used to spend all kinds of time micing everything up and trying to get everything to sound perfect an exactly the way I wanted, but there is only so much you can do with classic analog equipment. Now with plugins, getting these kinds of sounds is so simple!
On the track I was applying the plugin to in the video, I really did minimal adjustments, but I love the sound it created.
When I am playing an absolutely perfect sound for a virtaul instrument, the thing that always get me and what people always ask me, is how to make it work in a more organic setting. What I usually do is apply random delays with slight detunes on them and distorted, as well as possibly wipe off the high end and just create some roughness to it. This plugin does this, but through a whole different way of thinking and it really works great.
