You know the guys at Vintage king Warren, I would love to know the rough guide price for a piece of history like this. I am guessing in the order of $250,000 but I might be way off. As a piece of music history though it is price less.

Hi @plap-disqus-25ddc0f8c9d3e22e03d3076f98d83cb2:disqus My guess that component wise it’s probably about $500k, however with the History it’s completely priceless! It’s like a Jaguar D Type that won Le Mans! Completely priceless! Maybe 2 or 3 million? Even at that it’s only going to go in value, this is the definition of one-of-a-kind! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing my friend, many thanks Warren

      1. Jared Sherman says:

Wow, 2-3 million would be insane! I wonder what Lenny paid for it.

        1. Warren Huart says:

Goodness knows what he paid for it @plap-disqus-66368270ffd51418ec58bd793f2d9b1b:disqus But it is Le Mans Winning Jaguar D Type! It’s not just a console, it’s a console that’s a huge part of history, it’s thoroughbred, as with any thoroughbred it’s worth what someone is willing to pay! If I had that much money to spare I might honestly buy it! Haha But I’m a huge fan of The Beatles, especially Let It Be! That’s one of my favourite albums! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing my friend, many thanks Warren

Yes indeed @plap-disqus-d3d9446802a44259755d38e6d163e820:disqus , as a piece of history it is priceless and only worth what someone is prepared to pay. I think someone will be prepared to pay a lot for this 🙂 FYI – at the age of 16 I spent a few months working for a company, now no longer in existence, that specialised in Jaguar restorations, I got to work on a C-Type, a D-Type, several XK120 and XK140, XK150, E-types, MK1, MkII and MkIV plus a Farrari 250 GTO., this was 1979/1980. They didn’t fetch anything like the prices they do now. My favourites are still the XK120 and XK140 for the styling and the fun we had in them on test drives after rebuilds. They wouldn’t let me drive the C and D Types though which was probably a wise precaution.

WOW!!! @plap-disqus-25ddc0f8c9d3e22e03d3076f98d83cb2:disqus That would have been an amazing job!! The E Type is my favourite ever car and the D Type is one of the greatest cars ever made!! Not to mention the XK series!! Incredible stuff! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing my friend, many thanks Warren

    Amazing!
When you consider the music that was made on it you have to ask, “How did they do That?”
Just shows how talented they were.

    1. Warren Huart says:

Exactly @plap-disqus-c203d8a151612acf12457e4d67635a95:disqus! The talent was the most important thing!! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing, many thanks Warren

If I had the money I’d be struggling between buying this or one of the starship Enterprise bridge sets for Star Trek Continues or something. I mean, can you imagine playing guitar in the captain’s chair? (I’m so silly)
But then, imagine (yeah, Imagine) sitting in front of that console actually playing the Beatles. I’ll tell you what, I’d start writing music until you dragged me away.

    1. Warren Huart says:

Haha @l_scott_knight:disqus I’m right there with you! But I think the console would win out! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing, many thanks Warren

      1. L Scott says:

Maybe put the console on the set then do a fan film where we use it to go back in time and save John.

        1. Warren Huart says:

Haha @l_scott_knight:disqus Now you’re giving me all kids of ideas my friend! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing, many thanks Warren

  4. Southern Man says:

If it came with George Martin and Geoff Emmerick and four other guys than it might be a good buy….

    1. Warren Huart says:

Haha I understand @disqus_rGWVLbvvKC:disqus It’s just like buying a Ferrari, a vintage one is $500k, but the won that one Le Mans is 4 Million. Have a marvellous time recording and mixing, many thanks Warren
