Harrison Audio has had a long successful history in the audio world from music studios to film studios. Having started in 1975 by Founder Dave Harrison, Harrison Audio introduced their first 32 Series Console which brought with it. The worlds first 32 bus “in line” console the Harisson 3232.
Only four years after the 32 series consoles would Harrison then introduce its highly acclaimed PP-1 film console to become the “Hollywood standard” for modern film console designs.
For years Harrison consoles would be used in some of the worlds top projects including; Michael Jackson, Queen, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Sade, Sinatra and at the Live Aid Show.
By 1985 came the SeriesTen Consoles introducing the worlds FIRST totally automated console giving full recall automation in SECONDS. However this technology was no fully accepted in music studios which lead to Harrison being left in the background in the music business though it took over film studios by storm winning Harrison Audio multiple TEC Awards for its technological advancements and consoles’ outstanding performance.
For years to come Harrison Audio would keep ruling the film studio industry in blockbusters such as Pear Harbor, Transformers, Spider Man, Harry Potter, Ray, The Simpsons, ad may many more. With the introduction of the LPC (Live Performance Console) Harrison then began taking the live show industry by storm as we with acts such as Madonna, U2 and having bee used for Live Aid.
Years later ad after many successful new console releases Harrison launched their first entry into the consumer DAW market with Mixbus, a full featured workstation that incorporated many of Harrisons mixing technologies. This along with the iconic MPC in 2013 and later AVA plugins helped bring Harrison back into music studio productions
In 2022 Harrison was acquired by legendary Oxford based console manufacture, Solid State Logic (SSL) and have released their first inn a new era of Harrison production tools, the 32Classic Console.
