In this episode of MakeMineMusic, Marc Daniel Nelson mixes a hip hop track from top to bottom. The song he will be mixing is “I’m Home” by Accent. As he has done a few videos already on his mixing templates, Marc will jump right into the mixing process and show you his entire process from start to finish.
After a first listen, Marc doesn’t think the emotion is coming through enough in the track, so he is going to enhance the low end, among other things, to get the sound he wants and tighten up the mix. You will get to watch as Marc expands the transients and low end to create a perfect sonic scape!
