PMC: A New Era in Monitoring
We kicked off the day with a visit to PMC, where the harderst working man in music, Maurice Patlist shared some thrilling news about their new limited edition Result6 monitors. Originally launched in 2018, the Result6 has been a popular choice for many, especially younger audio professionals entering the PMC family.
With only 125 pairs available, this exclusive redesign comes in various colors, including a striking new look that some have compared to a stormtrooper. Maurice emphasized the importance of performance, stating that while the aesthetics are appealing, the sound quality remains the primary focus. Fans of PMC are encouraged to check these out before they’re gone!
Dolby Atmos Music Room
Next, we moved to the Dolby Atmos music room, a concept PMC pioneered back in 2017. This year, they have once again set up an impressive space on the NAMM show floor, inviting engineers and producers to experience immersive audio firsthand.
