Hello everybody! We have something quite exciting today!
In this episode, we’re going to be talking about the Nugen Focus Bundle which has three lovely plugins in it including the Stereoplacer, Monofilter, and Stereoizer.
We use these in a rock and roll setting but one of the things that’s really cool about these plugins is the sound design!
For a lot of you who are doing really cool effects and want to position stuff in certain situations. – This is going to be really important!
It’s not just for rock n roll mixing or in this case Retro Atlantic Soul Stacks mixing. These are going to be very important plugins if you’re doing sound design, movie, or film and tv work.
Traditionally we’re given digital audio tapes (DAT) and Nagra tapes but now we get mono recordings and two mic recordings which we’re having to spend time with making them sound good. We might be having to get rid of noise, hiss, and hum, whatever happens in a lot of these recordings.
Not only are we able to do that with ease but with the focus bundle you’ll be able to spatialize them, put them in places and manipulate them to do fun things. – That’s just the vocal stuff!
Now think about all of the music you’re being sent, stereo files and you’re trying to make it more or less stereo. Or make it so the just the low end is super mono so you can have dialog.
There are so many cool reasons to use these plugins beyond just a mix.
The best thing about this episode is you can enter to win one of three Focus Bundles! (Scroll up to enter!)
