We are starting a remix competition today! You will get to remix a fantastic song, and there are some truly amazing prizes up for grabs!

The song you will be remixing is Blackout by CLO. CLO is an incredible artist that I have been working with, and I actually produced and co-wrote this song with her and Liana James. The song was recorded at Sunset Sound and Spitfire Studio. The engineers on the track were Eric Gonzalez, Warren Huart, and Zack Zagel. It was mixed by the incredible Reid Shippen, and mastered by Ted Jensen.
CLO and Liana James sang the backgrounds, Warren played all the guitars, John Button (who plays with The Who) played bass, Matt Musty played drums, the string arrangement was done with Dan Ko, and Steve Maggiora played keys.
There will be 5 winners for this contest, and they will be chosen by CLO! CLO is very eclectic. She loves super modern stuff, but she also loves classic stuff, and everything in between. This is a really great opportunity for you to do what you excel at. Just do your best work!
The first place winner will featured on her remix EP. We already have a number of great remixes done, including one by Rob Jevons, and some other special guests.
