Hello everybody! We have something quite exciting today!
We’re taking a look at the MixerFace Mobile Recording Interface and this thing looks marvellous!
It has rechargeable battery in it that apparently lasts a bleeding long time.
We look at lots of different IOs that you can travel all over the place and use but have we ever looked at anything so small before? – It’s pretty remarkable
The best thing about this episode is you can enter to win a MixerFace Mobile Recording Interface (Scroll up to enter!)
We have David of The Workday Release with us who Recorded an acoustic track and a vocal track through the MixerFace R4R using Garage band on his iPhone
After David finished recording on garage band inside of his iPhone we air dropped those files to the computer. My friend Paul who told me about this, tells me that he really really likes these micpres and I’m super excited to be able to hear them for the first time.
The MixerFace is designed to be a professional tool and CEntrance have put a lot of time and energy into this and it shows.- I’m very impressed with it.
The MixerFace turns your smartphone into a Recording Studio, letting you capture musical ideas, interviews, or live events anywhere. Handheld and easy to use, MixerFace is great for podcasting, news-gathering, live-streaming, video blogging, songwriting, and other mobile recording uses. This passport-sized device makes it easy to record professional-quality audio anywhere. An internal, long-lasting rechargeable battery sets MixerFace apart from other portable audio interfaces and makes it the ideal companion for the road.
It mounts to a tripod and packs two studio mic preamps, letting you use professional mics with your video camera. You are even able to plug MixerFace’s output right into your DSLR to dramatically improve the audio quality of your videos. Select versions including the MixerFace R4R has a built-in micro-SD card recorder, so you can record to two places at once, for redundancy and safety.
